Questions About Therapy?
-
You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. People often come because something doesn’t feel quite right - they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or want to understand themselves better. If you’re wondering about it, that’s usually enough of a reason to explore it.
-
The first session is a chance for us to talk through what’s brought you here and what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share everything straight away - we go at your pace. It’s also an opportunity for you to get a feel for how I work and decide whether it feels like a good fit.
-
Most people come weekly, especially at the beginning, as it helps build momentum and consistency, though fortnightly sessions are also possible. There’s no fixed length to therapy - some people come for a short period to work through something specific, while others stay longer for deeper, ongoing work. We can review this together as we go.

Individual sessions are £65 for 50 minutes, and couples sessions are £85 for 60 minutes. Payment is usually made by bank transfer.
-
Yes. Everything we talk about is kept confidential. The only exceptions are where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or where I am legally required to share information. I will always aim to discuss this with you first where possible.

I'm happy for you to reach out by text message, however it's useful to chat on the phone or online prior to booking a session.
I offer a free initial 20 minute phone or video chat for us to get a sense of what’s bringing you here and whether this feels like the right space for you.
